I bought this when my boy was around 10 month old and was teething and in pain. I cannot leave a good comment about it. Unfortunately if turned out my boy was allergic to some of the ingredients (never was allergic to any food, milk or other medicine or teething gel). I did the first application in the afternoon, in the evening I noticed an ulcer on the inside of his lip, but didn't put the two and two together, so made another application. He woke up screaming in the middle of the night, he looked hungry but didn't want to take bottle into his mouth, thinking he was really in pain from teething I applied the gel for the third time. I was horrified when we all got up in the morning and I saw my little boys entire tongue deep down covered in ulcers. I rushed to the GP, he wasn't impressed with my choice of teething relieve, but the worst thing was that there was nothing he could prescribe him to treat it. It was agonising for my boy, he couldn't drink any milk for around 3 days. I cannot describe how angry I felt at the situation and myself for causing him so much pain. And yes - I read the leaflet!!! I just didn't anticipate that something which is supposed to treat ulcers and relieve teething pain can actually cause ulcers. I would say, please be cautious, test small amount, wait few hours, thoroughly check your baby's mouth before applying next dose.

Anbesol Liquid is the best thing I have used for teething on my child and tell everyone who has a baby suffering to try it out! It works far better than any gels as it isn't easily removed by a roaming tongue and works immediately. I cannot recommend this product enough!
