Hard to get in exact area, baby didn't like the taste so unwilling to open mouth with contributed to the difficulties.

Pointless. by the time you get it on your finger to where the gel needs to go, you can guarantee it's been either licked off your finger or dribbled somewhere else.

The nature of Bonjela being a gel meant it would slip off the gum and not be very effective at pain relief.

This product was really rubbish. There wasn't a time my little one didn't stop crying or seemed to have any peace with this. Personally I wouldn't recommend myself. But I do know people who it has worked for. I think it depends on your child

Just slides off the gums and difficult to apply to the exact area as it slides off your finger before you can apply!

My baby hated the taste, hated me trying to put it on, didn't seem to have any positive effect.
