For a gel,the effects of this actually did last a while which was pleasing for both me and baby,it also seemed to work quite quick and settled my little girl happily

Ok - we found gels didn't stick to his gums therefore he swallowed more and the liquids where much more effective. We found this gel better than Bonjella however.
