Calprofen is a strawberry flavoured Ibuprofen Suspension for babies and children. It is used for the relief of: Fever (raised temperature); Post-immunisation fever; Teething and toothache; Colds and influenza symptoms; Sore throat; Headache; Minor muscular aches and pains.

Very effective and I like that this includes a spoon rather than the syringe thing Calpol comes with. However supermarkets offer the same thing for less in their own brands.

Very good for temperatures and has less flavouring than Calpol so taken easier by babies under 6 months

Baby likes the taste. Accidentally gave too much though as didn't realise the dose was different to Calpol. More uniformed dosing across medicines for specific age ranges would he helpful.

I found this very effective in relieving pain and fever and more so when my baby has had an exceptionally high fever and I've used it alongside paracetamol. My 16 month old is happy to accept this medicine and the oral syringe it is dispensed with.
