Cow and gate are competitive with the other leading brands. The one value I did find they had that sets them apart from the rest, is their travel cartons of pressure mixed milk that were in convenient plastic bottles with disposable teats that were very handy to keep in the changing bag or car. I was never caught without when I found these useful packs as you never know when your child may spill, lose their bottle, or just suddenly decide they require more milk that you had prepared when you left the house!

We've used the C&G first infant formula from the start, with a combination of breastfeeding and formula for the first 3 months, gradually moving over to just formula. We've never had any reactions or refusal of this milk from our baby and have been very happy with it. I love that it comes with a little scoop inside the container and a section of the container is made so you can scrape off the excess powder so you get the exact portion correct. The feeding amount guide on the side of the box is really useful. We also signed up to the Cow & Gate club and they emailed us ahead of a formula change to let us know that some of the ingredients were changing in their formula. This was really helpful too. Not that we needed to do anything about it but when you're a first time parent, just noticing the box is a different colour can make you question everything. At least we were aware of this change and knew it was coming. Overall, would definitely use this formula again if we have another baby.

Great value for money, and a formula that my baby seems to get along with well. Great that powdered and ready made versions of this formula is available.
