I found sma to be in line with other leading brands. However, what I did like about this brand is that they are the only one to use a metal tin for their powder instead of a paper carton like the others. I felt this was a much fresher way to store the powder however it is reflected in the slightly higher price.

thicker than aptamil, this was more difficult for the baby to digest

I have used both the first milk and the follow on from about 7 months, I exclusively breastfed to begin with and when I returned to work have used this for my baby at childcare, but still breastfeed at home, and she switches between with no problems. I am very happy with this brand
